In 2017 we had an outstanding competition which was the result of 16 finalists being awarded the opportunity to work with our harpists. Each finalist was chosen from annonymous scores submitted before July 2017. These teams now have 5 months to work with their harpist in order to create the best piece possible for the instrument. The final of the competition - The Hidden Gem Concert took place on the 6th January 2018. It was the World Premier of these 17 new works. 5 of these works will be awarded publishing contracts with PoppyHarp Publishing and the winning collaboration will walk away with £250 sponsored by Kimichi Independent Secondary School.
